Remarks / more information:

Abstracts are the window to your paper. They are therefore of great importance. Compared to writing an entire paper, writing an abstract seems easy. The contrary is true!

Are you wondering what makes a good abstract? What the do’s and don’ts are? How you can make your abstract stand out, for instance when you send one in for a conference?

Then sign up to this workshop! Professor Joost Drenth, editor of the “Nederlands Tijdschrijft Voor Geneeskunde” and as such very experienced in reading and judging abstracts, will tell you the tips and tricks to writing a good abstract. In addition, you will get the opportunity to send in your own abstract. Prof. Drenth will use these abstracts during the workshop, making it a great chance to get some constructive feedback and to improve your abstract even more. Due to limited time, up to ten abstracts can be discussed during the workshop. Timely sent abstracts will be given priority, so do not hesitate and send in your abstract (email below)!
