Bas Mulder Award for Willemijn Hobo

Hobo, Willemijn Bas Mulder Award

Willemijn Hobo (Laboratory Medicine) has received the Bas Mulder Award of 600,000 euros on June 4th 2012 in Alp d'Huez, France. The prize money will be used to perform research to improve tumor immune-therapy.

The Bas Mulder award is made available by the Foundation Alpe d'HuZes. The awards aim to support young talent to pursue their groundbreaking research and are intended to inspire young scientists to do the utmost with their abilities; just like Bas Mulder who died of cancer in 2010 at the age of 24.
