Erasmus Staff Training Grant for Kukiat Tudpor

Tudpor Kukiat

Kukiat Tudpor, a PhD student in the Ion Transport Group, Department of Physiology, has received the Erasmus Staff Training Grant from the European Commission's Lifelong Learning Programme for his laboratory training at the Institut des Neurosciences Cellulaires et Intégratives, Université de Strasbourg, France. The programme enables scientists to take part in stimulating learning experiences as well as developing the education and training across Europe. Under the bilateral agreement between Radboud University Nijmegen and Université de Strasbourg and supervision of Prof. Michel Barrot, he spent some time in Strasbourg and has been successful to identify a new extracellular regulator of bone and calcium metabolism by using the adrenoceptor knockout mouse model. The obtained results will be a nice addition to his thesis work.
