Invitation to Internationalisation Day 2015

‘The International Master’s Student’
Thursday 28 May 2015

The presence of talented international Master’s students at our university contributes to the quality of our education and learning culture. And, what is more, it contributes to an international campus. Therefore, the 2015 edition of Radboud Internationalisation Day will have ‘International Master’s students’ as its central theme. We will concentrate on subjects like marketing & recruitment, admission & enrolment, the international classroom & cross-culturality, career services, outbound orientation, and alumni.

As we intend to raise the intake number of Master’s students at Radboud, we will share examples and knowledge in this area of internationalization. We will provide new and useful insights for further development of our day-to-day work. And since this day is part of the International Staff Training Week, 26-29 May, this means that you will also get the opportunity to meet and share experiences with international colleagues from partner universities.

This Internationalisation Day is aimed at Radboud University lecturers, educational planners, study advisors and coordinators, members of examination boards, administrators and all other (faculty) staff who are interested in or who are already dealing with international master’s students and internationalisation.

Rector Magnificus professor Theo Engelen will open the event with a Word of Welcome, followed by a plenary session on ‘Change Perspective’ by Mr. Pim van Zanen, Director of Marketing and Communication. After this you are invited to participate in two rounds of workshop sessions. We also offer you a lunch afterwards during which you can talk to RU or international colleagues about the subjects of the day.

Check out the complete programme and register straight away.

The deadline for registration is Friday, 1 May 2015.

We would be grateful if you forwarded this invitation to other colleagues who might be interested.

Marian Janssen, PhD
Head of International Office
