The Dutch Kidney Foundation each year allocates 1 million Euro to personal career stimulating grants within the highly competitive Kolff program. This year Dr Loes van der Zanden (Department of Health Evidence) obtained a Junior Kolff post-doc grant (196,000 euro) for the project "Personalized care for patients with congenital obstructive uropathy: prognostic models for renal function". Using the AGORA (Aetiologic research into Genetic and Occupational/environmental Risk factors for Anomalies in children) data- and biobank (www.AGORAproject.nl), she will develop prognostic models for hypospadias and renal function. This research perfectly fits in the Radboudumc's theme Personalized Healthcare.
