This is to remind you that this Thursday, October 24th, from 16:00 - 17:00 hrs, there will be an exciting lecture in the NCMLS Lecture Series by Prof. Joseph Gleeson(hosted by me), entitled:

Mechanisms and treatments for neurodevelopmental disorders

Venue: Figdor Lecture Theatre, 8th floor NCMLS Building, Geert Grooteplein 26-28, route 289.

Following the lecture, drinks and snacks will be available to socialise with prof. Gleeson  and colleagues.

Joe Gleeson is a high profile scientist and physician from the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), and an excellent speaker. He is a Professor of Neurosciences at UCSD, an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical institute, and head of the Laboratory for Developmental Neurogenetics.

He is very successful in combining fundamental and clinical/genetic research towards treatment of disorders such as ciliopathies, autism, epilepsy and intellectual disability.
