Martijn van den Bosch wins rheumatology awards

Martijn van den Bosch, department of Experimental Rheumatology and Advanced Therapeutics, has won 2 prizes for his abstract: "Synovial wnt and WISP1 expression induces cartilage damage by skewing of TGF-beta signaling and reduction of the anti-hypertrophic factor sox9". The prizes for scientific excellence of the abstract were awarded by two independent committees of the OARSI and the EULAR. At the OARSI conference, to be held in Barcelona from 16-29 April, Martijn has won the Young Investigator Award and at the EULAR conference, to be held in Berlin in June, he has won the EULAR Abstract Award 2012. He will present his work orally at both meetings, at the OARSI in the session for highest rated abstracts.
