It is our pleasure to introduce the new research policy advisor for the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS): Dov (Duby) Ballak. On February 1 he will start at this position and as such, will be the successor of Adrian Cohen.

Together with Dagmar Eleveld, he will be responsible for the general management of our institute including topics like PhD and postdoc programs, internationalization, international symposia, seminars, external contacts, support of our research themes, RIMLS website, and grant support.

After studying Biomedical Sciences in Nijmegen, he performed a PhD-track at the department of Internal Medicine at the Radboudumc on the involvement of the immune system in obesity-induced insulin resistance and a postdoc in Boulder/Denver, Colorado (USA) at the University of Colorado on targeting immune pathways to improve healthy aging. Subsequently, he worked as a policy advisor for the Radboudumc Health Academy with a focus on the Bachelor Programs of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, and now he will support our research institute.

The management team of RIMLS wishes Duby every success.
