NVED award for Hanna Niehues

Niehues Hanna

Hanna Niehues, PhD student at the department of Dermatology, has been awarded with the first prize as the best speaker during the annual meeting of the Dutch Society for Experimental Dermatology (NVED) 2014. Her research project is focused on the late cornified envelope (LCE) protein family and their role in skin barrier function and the impact of the LCE3B/C deletion in the development of psoriasis. The jury rewarded her for the presentation entitled 'Late Cornified Envelope 3B and 3C deletion-more than just a loss of two proteins'.
