On the right track?

The Training and Supervision Plan (TSP) is a 'living' document that should be regularly checked and at least once per year adjusted in your end-of-year appraisal meeting with your supervisor. A perhaps small but non-the-less important section of the form are your objectives for the forthcoming year. The more well-thought out your objectives are the better you will be able to structure your PhD and, hopefully, finish your thesis within 4-4.5 years.

We strongly advise PhD students (and postdocs) to define annual SMART objectives. In this respect we have re-evaluated our current Training & Supervision Plan forms. The latest versions of Form A and Form B, as well as a PhD guide to SMART objectives can be downloaded via our PhD website (www.ncmls.eu/PhD > downloads).

In order to help you make choices for workshops etc, an overview of Radboud University Medical Centre and Radboud University Nijmegen  courses, workshops & symposia for PhD students has been made. This can be downloaded via our PhD website (www.ncmls.eu/PhD > downloads) or via this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Margret Achour.
