Pfizer Prize for the Life Sciences for Daniel Wesche

On Friday, November 29th, Daniel Wesche, who had obtained his master's degree in Molecular Mechanisms of Disease this summer, received the Pfizer Prize for the Life Sciences from the Koninklijke Hollandsche Maatschappij der Wetenschappen. This prize is awarded for the best master's thesis in the life sciences. In his thesis "RNAi screen identifies key chromatin modulators during cellular reprogramming", conducted at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston Daniel Wesche found a way to accelerate the reprogramming of induced pluripotent stem cells.
