Potential for life sciences collaboration between Massachusetts and East Netherlands

There are numerous opportunities in life sciences for research and economic collaboration between the East Netherlands and Massachusetts, a region that is at the forefront of this field.

That was the final conclusion after a brief visit of Dr Susan Windham-Bannister, PhD, CEO and President of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center (MLSC) in Boston, Massachusetts. In Nijmegen, the Netherlands, she met with scientists, entrepreneurs and government and university officials on 5 February. The American-Dutch meeting was arranged by the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Washington, D.C., East Netherlands Development Agency Oost NV, and the Radboud Institute for Molecular Life Sciences (RIMLS).
