Recent acquisitions: Science Signaling and Science Translational Medicine

The Library of Science and the Medical Library have, at multiple scientists' requests, collectively subscribed to two electronic journals of the American Association of the Advancement of Science (AAAS). Both Science Signaling and Science Translational Medicine have high impact factors and are essential for a broad research area within both the Medical Faculty and the Science Faculty.

Science Signaling had an impact factor of 7.6 and includes articles about Cellular Biology, Neuroscience and Bioinformatics among other things. Access is granted from 1999 onward.
Science Translational Medicine has an impact factor of 10.7 and focuses on medical research. Access to this journal is granted from 2009 onward.

In September the use of both journals will be evaluated. Then we will also decide if the subscriptions will be extended. Both journals can be accessed through the website of the University Library, under Directly to... - Electronic journals. A direct link to the full texts of the journals can also be found in the Library Catalogue RU.
