Researcher in the classroom

The WKRU (Wetenschapsknooppunt Radboud University) finds it important to encourage the inquisitive attitude and research skills of students at an early age. Every spring we give schools the opportunity to have a (young) researcher visit them in the classroom. The researcher tells about his or her own research, and about research and science in general. Every year roughly 30 researchers visit a primary school. The WKRU prepares the researchers for their visit and provides a short training in how to translate research to a broad audience.
