TASENE grant for Ditte Lundvig

Dr. Ditte Lundvig from the Dept. of Orthodontics and Craniofacial Biology, Dentistry, and Dr. Matilda Mtaya-Mlangwa from the Muhimbili University of Health and Allied Sciences, Tanzania have been awarded a TASENE grant of 370.000 EUR for their project entitled "Novel therapies to reduce scarring and quality of life assessment in orofacial clefting". TASENE is a new collaborative program between COSTECH (Tanzania), SIDA (Sweden), and WOTRO (The Netherlands) aimed at enhancing scientific excellence and strengthening research collaborations between Tanzanian post-docs and post-docs from either Sweden or The Netherlands. The grant enables Ditte to continue her postdoctoral studies on hypertrophic scarring and cytoprotective molecules in the group of Dr. Frank Wagener and Dr. Hans von den Hoff for another two years.
