MSc Marti Boss

PhD Candidate

Rare cancers

I have a bachelor's degree in Molecular Lifesciences from Maastricht University and a master's degree in Biomolecular Sciences from Utrecht University. After graduation I worked as a technician at Crucell Holland BV in the clinical assays group. I now started as a PhD student at the department of nuclear medicine in the group of Prof. M. Gotthardt. I will be working on a European project, BetaCure, in which I will be working on clinical studies involving PET and SPECT imaging of diseased beta cells in adult endogenous hyperinsulinemic hypoglycemia and congenital hyperinsulinemia. Furthermore, I will be working on imaging of remaining beta cells in diabetic patients.
