Cancer development and immune defense

Research within the Laboratory of Pediatric Oncology focuses on the cell biological and genetic characterization of childhood malignancies in order to improve diagnosis and treatment of these diseases. More specifically, we apply in vitro as well as in vivo experimental approaches to characterize cytoskeletal remodeling and cell adhesion dynamics that underlie tumor metastasis formation.
